Frankfurt / Hannover, Germany, 3 February 2012 – Showcasing under the motto "Transforming Lotus. Together." at this year’s CeBIT, the Lotus experts from GROUP Business Software AG (GBS) will focus on a highly topical subject in the cloud computing era: the modernisation and conversion of existing Lotus applications and infrastructures into web and cloud-enabled solutions. This not only allows companies to leverage previous investments in the IBM Lotus platform, but also extends their application scope.
To be found in Hall 2, Stand D30, at the world’s largest IT trade fair to be held in Hannover 6 - 10 March, GBS will present their award-winning solutions and know-how in the modernisation and scalability of application environments. With GBS Transformer 2.0 and the GROUP Live cloud platform for automated application delivery, the company will demonstrate two of its current highlights at the CeBIT stand.
“The close proximity to our partner IBM is not just a coincidence, but a clear statement with regards to our know-how and innovation leadership in the fields of Lotus and cloud services”, says Constanze Zarth, Chief Operational Officer Europe at GBS. A visit at the GBS stand at CeBIT 2012 could also be a rewarding experience for companies focusing on improving collaboration and optimising existing business processes. GBS will present a broad portfolio of solutions designed to accelerate, simplify and safeguard your processes – from compliant control of the electronic communication to the integration of email into business processes and central management of Domino infrastructures.
Also for the first time, the visitors at the GBS stand will be able to find out more about highly efficient control of processes and projects as well as the reduction of format diversity through a centralised conversion of documents and emails to PDF files. Besides these additions to the GBS portfolio, the innovative AppBuilder will also make its debut at CeBIT. The GBS AppBuilder is the core component of a new type of application development and thus constitutes a framework for future social business strategies. “At the GBS stand, CeBIT visitors will have the opportunity to exchange views with our experts and get professional advice on all topics related to collaboration and the modernisation of applications and infrastructures. In-line with our motto “Transforming Lotus. Together.”, we want to shape the future together with our customers and find the best possible strategy to do so”, Andreas Richter, Director Marketing Europe at GBS, concludes.
